At a glance
Rivered works offline by default, keeping your tournaments, players, and settings on your device; the one exception is Broadcast, an optional Pro feature you turn on yourself, which publishes a live tournament snapshot and final standings (including the player names you entered) to a public page anyone with the link can view.
Information the app handles
- Your tournaments, blind structures, templates, player names, chip sets, tables, payouts, money records, and history are stored on your device with Apple's on-device storage; Rivered does not sync them to iCloud or send them to a GadgetHeads LLC server.
- Importing players from Contacts uses Apple's system contact picker to select one or more people; the app receives only the name (and where available the email and phone) of each contact you choose, copies them into local player profiles, and never reads the rest of your address book.
- Broadcast, an optional Pro feature that is off by default, is the only feature that sends anything off your device: while running, it publishes a live snapshot of that tournament (name, current and next blind levels, time remaining, players remaining, entry count, prize pool and currency, and accent color) to a server we operate.
- When a broadcast tournament finishes, the final snapshot includes the finishing standings, with the player names you entered and each payout, on a public page (gadgetheads.biz/live) that anyone with the link can view; turning Broadcast off or discarding the tournament removes the published snapshot.
- Broadcast signs in anonymously to create a random per-install identifier so the server can tell which broadcast belongs to your device; it is not linked to your name, email, or any account, and there is no login.
- Rivered uses no analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking and requires no account; optional purchases (a one-time Rivered Pro unlock) are processed by Apple through the App Store, and GadgetHeads LLC does not receive your payment information.
Purchases
If Rivered: Home Hold'em Toolkit offers an in-app purchase or subscription, Apple processes the transaction. GadgetHeads LLC does not receive your full payment-card information. The app may receive purchase and entitlement status so it can unlock the features you bought.
When you contact support
If you email support@gadgetheads.biz, we receive the address you write from and anything you include in the message, such as screenshots or device details. We use that information to respond to your request and troubleshoot the problem.
Sharing and exports
Features that export, message, or share information act only when you choose to use them. Once you send information to another person or service, that recipient’s privacy practices apply.
Security and your device
We design GadgetHeads LLC apps to use platform protections such as the iOS sandbox, Apple permissions, and iCloud where noted above. No system can guarantee perfect security, so keep your devices, accounts, and backups protected.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Rivered: Home Hold'em Toolkit changes. The effective date at the top will show when the current version took effect. Material changes will be reflected here before or when the related feature is released.
